Three officers from Syrian regime forces were responsible for the 2013 Ghouta chemical attack. United States of America revealed their names in 2022 and imposed sanctions on them.
The three officers are:
Brigadier General Adnan Abboud Halwa
Major General Jawdat Salibi Mawas
Major General Ghassan Ahmed Ghanem
