After the chemical weapons attack on Ghouta in the Damascus countryside for the first time in Syria in 2013, the side effects of these weapons became apparent.
Chemical Violations Documentation Center of Syrian (CVDCS) documented 32 cases of miscarriage and 11 cases of deformed fetuses born in Zamalka, Arbin, Ain Tarma, Douma, and Al-Moadamiyah following the chemical attack on Ghouta in the Damascus countryside in 2013.
